"Pantry Raid" winner will be crowned at halftime of football game

Over the last 18 years, the students have collected over 799,000 pounds of food for the East Texas Food Bank
TYLER - The 19th annual Pantry Raid started Monday, October 26th. Robert E. Lee and John Tyler High School students once again participated in the annual Pantry Raid food drive to benefit the East Texas Food Bank. Students collected food to help feed hungry East Texans.
Over the last 18 years, the students have collected over 799,000 pounds of food for the East Texas Food Bank. The school that collects the most amount of food will earn bragging rights. The results will be announced at the Robert E. Lee and John Tyler Football game on Friday, October 30th at halftime.
The Red Raiders and Lions have each won nine times.
