GREGG COUNTY—One Gregg County Commissioner is concerned about the accuracy of election results, so he's asking for a back-up plan.

Commissioner Darryl Primo along with the chairs of the Gregg County Democratic and Republican Parties are asking to add a paper ballot to the current electronic system.

They say this is necessary in case the electronic system is hacked into or compromised in any way.

However, the Gregg County Elections Administrator and County Judge say it's not necessary.

Those in favor of adding the paper ballot say it wouldn't burden the budget, while the County Judge says it's unnecessary spending.

The budget will be voted on next week.
