Shepherd's Heart Ministry looking to stem that tide
Tyler — Tyler based-Shepherd's Heart Ministries knows all too well the staggering numbers of pastors leaving the ministry.
Focus on the Family and Barna research estimate: 15 hundred a month are calling it quits. That's 18,000 a year.
Many site: depression, burn-out, feelings of inadequacy, marriage trouble just to name a few. KETK's Bob Brackeen spoke with ministers who've been there and now are trying to help others find their way back to the fold.

Howard, you are a completely silly man. Had you ever been in the ministry, you would know the work load that some of these men carry. (In my first ministry of 5 years, I got to work 7 days a week, while being paid an ammount that did not cover expenses.)
What we need, is MORE ACCOMPLISHED PREACHERS. Those who know the scriptures and the purpose of God in the whole scheme of things. A vast majority of so-called preachers know little about the scheme of redemption and how to obey the Gospel. SHAME
Finally some GOOD news! It's about time these freeloaders got a real job, and quit living off donations they scare out of people. If there is anything we don't need, it is more preachers.
