Pet daycare, a growing service among East Texas animal owners

Tyler, Texas (KETK) — Chris Coonan of Tyler has been a pet lover her entire life, and she has turned that love into her profession. "I do in home pet sitting, what I do is when people go on vacation or work long hours I during the week I go to their house and take care of their pets." Coonan is the owner of ‘Treasured Critters’ In-home pet care in Tyler.
Coonan says her business is busy, and this profession has become more popular, as is Dog Daycare facilities, "There's one customer I do five days a week three visit's a day, the dogs need to go out get their exercise."
Coonan services customers across East Texas in Bullard, Whitehouse, Tyler and Flint and says doggie daycare and in-home pet sitters are a growing trend and in high demand by animal owners."Oh yea there's a lot of in-home pet sitters going around now, it's becoming very popular," Coonan said, "They prefer to leave their dogs in their own home, than to put them in a kennel, where they are in a cage almost all day."
