Pet owners can have their dogs and cats vaccinated at reduced cost Saturday at a clinic benefiting Gilmer 4-H veterinary science students and the planned Hope House animal shelter.

The clinic, which also includes de-worming and heartworm testing and prevention help, is from noon to 2 p.m. inside Petco on Loop 281 at McCann Road in Longview.

Vaccination costs are $30, $40 and $50, depending on the breadth of disease protection, with the lower cost covering the legal rabies requirement for all dogs and cats.
