KETK's Phil Kuchinsky was waiting for the Cowboys to arrive at training camp in San Antonio.

And he wasn't alone.

Workers at the Alamodome were in a frenzy unloading training equipment and making sure everything is ready to go when the Cowboys hold their first official practice of the 2011 preseason. 

Cowboys coach Jason Garret said, "We're going to hit the ground running."  Garrett added, "We're going to do things with a fast tempo, with some urgency on a daily basis."

Satellite trucks and dozens of camera crews were searching for arriving players like Stephen McGee who talked to us about the recent cuts the team has made.

"It's difficult to see anybody go," McGee told Kuckinsky.  "It's difficult but it is part of the business."
