LONGVIEW, TX --- A report from the SWEPCO office indicates that the Pine Tree Intermediate and Middle School campuses which serve the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students are without electricity for the rest of today, Friday, September 17th.

All students are being served lunch, then children who are usually picked up as a car-rider, will remain at the campus until 1:00pm for parents to pick them up; if not picked up, they will taken by bus to the Pine Tree Auditorium on Pine Tree Road, next to the stadium – until picked up.

Children who usually ride the bus, will be taken by bus to the Auditorium on Pine Tree Road and bus routes will run as normal. Parents may pick them up early if able. Lunch Restrooms and water will be provided for the students. A rapid phone alert in English and in Spanish has been sent out to all parents with children at these campuses. Parents with questions will need to call the Pine Tree Central Administration office 903-295-5000.
