Longview, TX — A Pittsburg man died Monday in a one-vehicle crash near Gilmer.

Chad Michael Blackburn, 22, was driving southbound at about 10 a.m. on U.S. 271 about a mile north of Gilmer when his 1982 Ford 150 left the roadway and struck a tree, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Blackburn was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
