Plane crash near New Braunfels injures 3
SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Police reports say that three men have been hospitalized after their small plane crashed while they tried to land at an airport near New Braunfels.
Officials say the single-engine plane crashed just after 4:00 p.m. Monday between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake.
The passengers have been identified as 73-year-old pilot John Ofcansky of Boerne and his passengers, 32-year-old Ricardo Arellano and 28-year-old Joaquin Calvillo, both of San Antonio. Police say all three were airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio. Ofcansky remains in critical condition and the passengers are in stable condition.
