TYLER — Neal Barton offers his "Point of View" on purging the moderates.

Michelle,
Understand that "Butfird" as a satirist. (It took me a while to get it, too!)

There is NO button that repairs a good tv station that has been turned into self-important crap. Or one that makes the execs in charge smarter. Not even Japan makes such a device.
How about some news on a news show and website, rather than soundoffs, mailbags and POVs?

There is a little button on your remote that as an American gives you the freedom to change channels if your not happy with what you are watching...

5 months agoBarton, why don't you take a couple of laxatives so that the nonsense you spout, will flow out of the correct end?

5 months agoWhy is POV always the "Top Story"? How about doing a POV on the "sorority-girl blondeing" of KETK?

5 months agoWe should all be able to have free will in choosing our religion, our life’s path and our doctrine because ultimately we are responsible for the choices we make. In the end, all of us will either portray acceptable behaviors through our social interactions with others or we will be defined by our inner nature/spirit; which I feel also portrays whether our behaviors are acceptable or tolerated within our communities.
It seems whether faced with dominate religious threats- real or manufactured people here in Eat Texas simply seem to sink into mind-less situations where they start to agree/likewise disagree to anything. It’s obvious by the post I just read that some still have not learned from our past—if they had, I would not be seeing such a religious bickering/rebellion. Over what-- You’re personal religious world views as well as your personal interpretations of how religion interacts within our society?
I suppose I’m not sure how disliking others “over a religion” will ever help you become a person closer to your God. Might I suggest--Learn to embrace a better attitude toward others- try being more tolerant and give some consideration for those outside of your cultural and religious blinders. Maybe-just maybe then, you might be able to feel or experience the peace and solidarity we ALL so greatly deserve.
