Bossier City Police Department with the assistance of Shreveport Police Department arrested six in a prostitution sting Thursday night.

Officers with both departments as well as well as Bossier City Police Department Patrol Division conducted the scene Thursday night at a Bossier City hotel.

The operation involved officers working undercover posing as prostitutes and as person's soliciting prostitution.

Among the six arrested was Joshua K. Baker, 27, of Houston, Texas. He was taken to jail on charges of human trafficking and resisting arrest with force.

Upon further investigation, authorities found Baker had taken two suspected prostitutes to several cities in Texas and Louisiana for the purpose of having them perform sex for money.

He also fought with officers as they attempted to place him in custody.

Police also arrested five others in the sting.

Jeffery G. Chesshir, 48, of Taylor, Arkansas, John P. Stephenson Jr, 51, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Danny R. Evans, 48, of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Matthew Smith Jr, 42, of Longview, Texas were arrested for soliciting for prostitutes.

Enedriaa Flowers, 19, of San Antonio, Texas was arrested for prostitution.
