LUFKIN — The Lufkin Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a residence in the 1400 block of California Boulevard at approximately 10:00 PM Tuesday night.

The victim's name has not yet been released, but he is reportedly a man. Police say the home he was found in was his own, and the shooter was an unknown person.

The incident is under investigation.
