Police investigate shots fired at local complex

Tuesday, September 20, 2011 - 5:25pm

Tyler Police tell KETK they are still searching for anyone who might have fired shots at a local Tyler apartment complex's parking lot, Monday night. Just after 8 p.m., officers arrived at the Varsity Place Apartments near the University of Texas at Tyler. Nine shell casings were found in the rear parking lot of the complex by police, but no suspect has been named, victim or property damaged. Right now, police are asking anyone with information to call it in. The case isn't being called a shooting, but rather disorderly conduct.
