Longview — On Sunday, August 7, 2011 at approximately 5:50 a.m. officers responded to an Accident with Injuries that occurred in the 200 Block of Magnolia Lane.

The victim was walking on Magnolia Lane, in the area of Horseshoe Lane, with a friend when an unknown assailant struck him with a vehicle. The vehicle, possibly a dark-colored Pontiac Grand Prix, struck the unidentified pedestrian and fled the scene. The suspect vehicle will have damage to the car’s front end.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

The incident is still under investigation.
