Thanksgiving shoppers looking for some great bargains got more than they bargained for at one Texas Walmart.

Police in Odessa began spraying pepper spray when a crowd of shoppers got out of control.

Walmart officials say a mass of people rushed a pallet full of tablets and headphones just as a Black Friday sale began at 8:00 p.m.

Police and store staff say they tried to control the crowd but when a young boy got knocked down in the rush, an officer used the pepper spray to break things up.

Walmart says it was an isolated incident that doesn't represent the Black Friday experience at its stores.

Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in the incident.

Let's celebrate the baby Jesus' birth by trampling someone to buy a Christmas present! You know the baby Jesus likes a good trampling, as long as your trampling heathens.
Seriously, this society needs a check up from the neck up. I refuse to take part in this kind of behavior to save a buck. There is such a thing as human dignity.
