East Texan enters race for Governor's seat
September 21, 2009 - 7:52pm
DALLAS - An East Texan threw his hat in the ring Monday to become the Democratic Candidate for the Governor's seat.
Hank Gilbert announced his bid in Dallas.
The rancher from Whitehouse has actively opposed Governor Rick Perry's Trans-Texas Corridor Project.
In 2006, Gilbert lost an election to become Agriculture Commissioner.
Others seeking the Democratic nomination include former ambassador Tim Schieffer and Kinky Friedman.

It becomes print journalism when it's on a website. Good call.

It's KINKY FRIEDMAN.
Of course, as KETK is not PRINT journalism I guess it's not a biggie. Still.
