Possible multiple structure fire near Villages area

East texas firefighters answered the call for help at a house fire in the Villages area, near Flint. The call came in just after 12:00 a.m. It happened at 18257 Lakeside Drive.
Homeowner Glenn Gray says he and his wife were watching television in their bedroom when they heard a loud boom outside. When they looked out, they saw their garage-apartment on fire.
Gray said he quickly moved the vehicles out of the garage. He adds the fire spread to his neighbors garage.
"Fortunately the fire department looks like it's gonna keep it off my main house. And off of Tom's house. But looks like my garage apartment's a total loss apparently."
Investigators are still looking into what started the fire.

KETK reporter Cody Spain reports the Glenn Gray, the homeowner where the fire originally started, says he heard what he thought was a loud explosion around 11:00 p.m. When he went to check he found his garage-apartment on fire.
The neighbor next door tried to put the fire out himself with his garden hose.
Gray says his is so angry that this happened because he had just put a new roof on his house.
Investigators are looking into how the fire started.

KETK reporter Cody Spain reports that he has talked with the owner of the home that caught fire. Everyone in the home is said to have gotten out in time.
Spain also reports that he talked with a neighbor next door and at the time, the fire was spreading to his home as well. Fire officials are trying to contain the blaze before it speads any further.
No injuries have been reported.

Smith County DPS officials say there is a structure fire that has possibly spread to another house near the Villages in Flint.
Several fire engines have responded and are trying to put the fire out. No injuries have been reported so far.
