TYLER (KETK) — Well, the touting has started. The Obama Administration is stating they signed up 7-million right on the last day of the program.
Of course, they don't say many who signed up actually had insurance, or told us how many were the targeted youth.
How many were the unwanted older folks? They just say 7 million and we are to believe them. Other reports say 7 million may have logged on, but who has paid?
There is no mandate for this. It's all been pushed back.
How many have lost their jobs because of Obamacare? How many folks who signed up have had their rates go up and what is there new deductible?
One TV station in California spoke to one young man. Despite an extended deadline to sign up for health care under Covered California, some in the Bay Area are choosing to pay a penalty instead of insurance because of the cost.
Brian Roi has worked as a bartender without insurance for the last two years. He chose not to sign up for health coverage because at the end of the night, he said the math does not add up.
"It doesn't work for me. I went to college. I have to pay all these student loans still I'm paying those. I'm paying credit card bills that incurred when I went to college."
It's just a mess. It will always be a mess.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
