Here we are on the eve of Thanksgiving again.

The president wants us to remember him before we eat our meal and praise the healthcare plan he has laid out before us.

He actually wants us to discuss how good "Obamacare" is at our table.

That would be like discussing a turkey that is still half-frozen and dressing which was microwaved right out of the freezer.

"Obamacare" still isn't ready for consumption and I don't think it ever will be.

Wednesday, The White House pushed back online enrollment for small business for another year.

A bright spot for the gun lovers, the gun grabbers in Colorado took another pop on the chin.

Here's what happened; Out of staters moved to Colorado and they came from more liberal places, ran for state office and won.

They, along with a very liberal Colorado governor, passed some of the tightest guns laws in the nation.

This was like like the health care law. Not all of Colorado like the idea, but those in power went for it.

Well, there was such an uprising, two Colorado state senators were just recalled and now, another one is stepping down before they are thrown out of office.

After having the elected elite the past few years sticking a lot of ridiculous laws down our throats, it's great to see voters say, "Oh, no, you don't and
through the proper channels, take these folks out."

the gun deal is one reason part of Colorado wants to succeed.

they are not getting real representation for their needs.

they were just being told "shut up and go along."

It's nice to see we still have some engaged voters out there who won't take a slap in the face lying down.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

HOT OFF THE PRESS !!!
REPORT OUT TODAY, CONGRESS HAS THE LOWEST APPROVAL RATING IN 40 YEARS THANKS TO T-PARTY REPUBLICANS.
2014 midterm elections are coming in 11 months. LOTS and lots of republican / t-partiers up for re-election.
Hope for change in 2014 for a super majority of Democrats is the ONLY way to stop the wars on women and working class citizens and get the nation back on track with jobs.

What Rick Perry, Texas Republicans and Macy’s is against equal pay for women? And y'all say the Texas Republicans don't have a war on women.....what a lie !!

PolitiFact: Retailers did call for veto of state equal-pay bill
“The fact that Macy’s doesn’t support equal pay for women should stop you from shopping there on Black Friday,” the Houston state Rep. Senfronia Thompson said, saying that her equal-pay proposal cleared the Legislature earlier this year, but “then Macy’s sent a letter to Rick Perry urging him to veto the law, which he ultimately did.”

I'm just thankful that the world isn't as polarized and ugly as the media tries to convince me it is. Honestly life is pretty good if you don't sweat the small stuff. I noticed that Obama care diverted your attention away from losing your civil rights. So if you hear a drone overhead cheer up Obama care may not be a problem for you much longer. When you're wall papering the house with those useless dollar bills remember congress hasn't passed a budget yet.

I went to USGOV. com and found a list of suggested opening statements to introduce the topic of Obamacare at our Thanksgiving table. Here are some of my preferred. 1) Speaking of turkey, has anyone heard how the ACA website is working? 2) My goodness honey, your turkey is as full of crap as the president 3) There is no ham this year, all the pork went to pay-off congress 4) Mom the turkey looks done, it's the same color as Obama, 5) C'mon everyone "Cram it down your throat. it's the law"

LOL...... had to post the same junk twice SJ? ....LOL

Why not, you do.....frequently. Oh yeah it's someone not you doing it so it's wrong.

Not on the same thread or story. I do post the same thing sometimes on different stories but never twice on the same story.

I remember when Carter was running for President and the GOP and NRA said Carter would be coming after our guns if he was elected.
I remember when Clinton was running for President and the GOP and NRA said Clinton would be coming after our guns if he was elected.
I remember when Obama was running for President and the GOP and NRA said Obama would be coming after our guns if he was elected.
I still have my guns, do you? The GOP & NRA must be full of liars.

Remeber in 2010 these t-prtiers said they would create jobs if elected & not 1 jobs bill has been filed by them....liars again. Remember under bush we were losing 700 thousand jobs a month? Want to go back to that?

Amen

Well we can have a uprising in 2014.

It's called mid-term elections. Lots of Democrats up for re-election. Even a few in Texas.

Just vote 'em all out. Give the Republicans a chance to straiten out this Democrat mess.

And if Obama vetoes their bills, then just OVER RIDE HIM.

But for that we need lots of Republicans in the Senate.

Do it folks... do it for the children. And I am not joking.
