I know the president wants to make our energy plan wind, sun and unicorns, but we need to get going right now.

Look at all the drilling we have going on in North Dakota.

It's booming.

We have other places around the country going wild, but you never hear about it.

We are fixed upon government encouragement and money for technology, which is not ready yet.

I think, one day, we will be off oil for energy, but if I live to be an old man, we'll have petro products for the rest of my life.

Now, the unrest in Egypt is, I'm afraid, about to make the gas prices blow up again.

Threat or not, I can just hear the speculators on wall Street right now about to panic, orr fake panic and drive prices up.

This is from The Telegraph on Monday:

"After last week's bloody crackdown by the Egyptian army, fears of a disruption of oil supplies to the West have boosted the oil price. Brent crude prices were propelled to a four-month high of $111.23 on Thursday. If the turmoil gets worse - or unrest spreads to other countries - the risk premium currently factored into the price of crude is likely to increase further. Egypt plays a vital role in international energy markets through the operation of the Suez Canal and the Suez-Mediterranean (Sumed) pipeline. These are vital pieces of infrastructure in the global oil market."

Here we go again.

We need to drill.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

Suzuki-whatever, just read the funniest thing...and now have a country you, deaf smith, Sheila Jackson, and anyone else who hates the United States as much as you do can move to...GLENBECKISTAN! Pack your bags, get your tickets, round up your wives/husbands and children, and follow the yellow brick road to your new home...leader glen is waiting for you. As for your constant disrespect for our POTUS's name, STUFF IT! What a disgrace and embarrassment people like you continue to be...sinful!

Pete, I love America which is why I hate this government.

Doubtful that you love anything more than being a pain in the duff to those around you...what a certifiable bore...hate can kill a soul, but I think it's already done it's worst to this woman, folks. The world would probably vaporize instantly if Sheila ever posted a totally positive opinion...not to worry...it will never happen, so we're all safe.

They have drilled tons of wells right here in east Texas in the last 5 years, but they cap off 90% of them and go on to the next one, why? Because there is more money to be made in foreign oil, they pay pennies on the dollar for it there, why do you think we went to Iraq to start a war with a country that did nothing to us, everyone knew all along that Bin Lauden was in Afghanistan not Iraq. We have always had plenty of oil right here and still do because we only use a small percentage of it.

Well aware that you don't like blame being put squarely where it is due, I will again state that a) bush 2 took us to war in Iraq on bogus info, an out-and-out lie cooked up in a back room by bush, cheney, Rumsfeld, et al, and 2) bush was too stupid and gullible, listening to his stooges and their war talk regarding Iraq, to go after Bin Laden, cave to cave in Afghanistan, and kill the murdering ^^^. Big oil and Saudi royalty were bush's masters, not the welfare of the American people.

You are right there Pete, bush 2 started the war for oil, I never said obummer started it. Also the economy went sour after bush 2's first term and got worse each year he was in office, that's a fact. On the other hand obummer has done nothing but make it even worse, helping only big business, perverts " gays ", illegals, and welfare rats, no help for the middle class, poor, small business, or Americans in general. Both party's care nothing about " We The People " anymore, just themselves.

Currently there are restrictions on the sale US natural gas overseas. Companies like Dow, Nucor, and Alcoa benefit from low domestic prices and lobby to prevent deregulation of Natural gas. Domestic natural gas prices are far below current prices in Europe and Japan. Oil and Gas companies are well represented in congress.

Yep...deaf smith hit it square on the nail head again. President Obama has his trigger finger on oil prices, the world economy, the destruction of everything sacred in this country, and I've got some pretty little bricks painted gold that I'd like to sell to you, Mr. Smith. What a load of whoo-hah and bilge water slime you peddle daily. The "facts" you so easily spit out come from liars you listen to and watch, and sending them on just makes you as much a mean-spirited liar as your sources..

ol' triangle head must have oil stocks, don't you think? Let's see...wind is free, build windmills and man the grid (jobs and more jobs)...solar is free, build solar panels, install, manage the system's pay-back energy from homeowners (again, jobs and more jobs)...these two energy sources just petrify oil companies and investors, but as for us, we would gladly use solar panels and harvest energy from the wind...cleaner, quieter, sustainable, economical...all winners! How 'bout it, neal?

Obama and Co. don't care.

They want prices HIGH so their donors in Saudi Arabia keep making big bucks and sent them to the DNC.

It is a fact alot of the Arab countries donated to Obama for both his runs for presidency.
