Can they even run a Kool-Aid stand?

Tyler Tx (KETK) - — Governor Mike Huckabee makes a great point when he said this...
"For weeks, President Obama painted a bleak portrait of the devastation that awaited if the 2.4 percent spending cut took effect. But just before Friday's deadline, he pulled back, reassuring us that it would not be Armageddon, as some had said. And by "some," he meant himself. Look, these cuts won't be painless, especially not with "some" politicians trying to make them as painful as possible. But between the payroll tax hike, the doubled gas prices and the drop in incomes, most Americans have had to cut their own spending by far more than 2.4 percent. Huckabee said when he was governor of Arkansas, he had to cut spending by 10 percent. Somehow, schools stayed open and police still answered calls. In fact, if nobody in Washington can figure out how to cut 2.4 percent, then here's his suggestion: pick six former governors, three from each party, and give them 2 hours and lunch. They'll find that much to cut before the fried pies arrive.
I am in the TV business.
I'm a manager.
I have to do it all the time.
The dems keep talking about the dividend from GM.
They tell us what a great deal the general motors bailout was.
Make up the 2.4% with the dividend.
Oh, that's right, silly me.
There is all the money we saved with green energy.
Oh, that's right too.
As Lee Iacocca once said, any decent manager can cut 5% with no pain.
If they can't, they should not be running a Kool-aide stand, much less the federal government.
Most Kool-aide stands are run better.
That's my point of view what's yours?
