As the flirtation with frigid weather continues this Monday, there are still some who are blowing the global warming horn.
Just last week, the head of the Texas A&M Meteorology Department gave the thumbs up to the
earth is warming up because of cloud formations.
The global warming conference in Cancun last week was plagued with record cold weather and if you follow the news at all, you know what is going on right now in the midwest.
We all saw the pictures of the stadium in Minneapolis caving in because of 17 inches of snow.
You believers in global warming are looking at the TV right now and saw one cold snap does not make an argument that global warming is a hoax.
Yup. Although everytime its unusually warm, those who think the Earth is melting are saying "see...see."
It was buried in all the Wikileaks last week that there were some climate shenanigans in government docs that made some eyebrows raise about just what type of data they were using to prove that Al Gore invented the Internet and global warming.
We still do not know, but still its always entertaining to see record cold weather right now as we stare into wagged fingers telling us we better get on the warming bandwagon.
In the meantime, protect your plants, pets and pipes.

Notice how Progressives are for change, but let something change and they panic because it's not remaining unchanged?

It's proper name is climate CHANGE (not warming) and it's called that for a reason. Also, Climate is NOT the same thing as local weather. It's the average temperature of the ENTIRE planet--Not just North America. The Arctic is currently MUCH warmer than normal, and the winds that surround the north pole like a fence keeping the cold in have more or less shut down, 'causing the cold to get out. Which is why we have record cold right now, here.
You need to go back and study-up on this comment because you have made some incorrect statements. Specifically your use of the term "normal" must be questioned as is evidenced in artic ice studies. Also, your reference to the blocking high pressure area located over Greenland as something unusual is incorrect. My college degree is in a field of study which includes climatology. I know of no serious meteorologist who regard man made global warming or "climate change" as a real phenomenon.
They chose Cancun because they didn't want to get frozen out again this year. And as one talk show host asked, what about all the greenhouse gases created by the attendees to fly to the conference? We know what they'll say even before the meeting occurred. the U.S. and Europe, the cleanest countries, are the evil poluters, and the worst poluters, China, Russia, India, will be exempt from any criticism.
