Cruizing with common sense

Looks like freshman Senator Ted Cruz is creating a fire storm with some of the liberal elite in the northeast.

Cruz, who was just recently sworn in, hit the ground running saying what he believes--- like keep your hands off the 2nd Amendment and we need a smaller government. You know, the things he ran on.

I was on the panel asking questions here in Tyler when he was part of a debate almost a year ago. He said that then.

There is no question where Cruz is coming from. Now, Joe Scarborough, a darling of the liberals because he still calls himself a republican, but castigates Republicans every chance he gets is wringing his hands about our new senator.

Scarborough says Cruz should not be taking such a strong stance on gun control and wanting a smaller government.

Left-wing Joe is calling Cruz a Tea Partier-- duh-- and says he needs to fall in line and go along to get along.

That's according to the Daily Caller website which quotes Scarborough from his morning daily talk show.

Even failed RNC chairman Michael Steele is lashing out at Cruz. Steele says Cruz should not be reaching out to the base that sent him here, but reaching out to all Americans.

Fist of all, Cruz, so far, is doing exactly what he was sent there to do-- not be a part of a failed party and government which is sending our children's future down the river.

Bravo, so far, Mr.. Cruz.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

The "Old Guard" on BOTH sides of the canyon haven't done such a hot job of taking care of the family farm. Cruz is a good thing.

Good grief. Cruz is all talk and it's all blather. We're supposed to be proud that he's offending people?

What common sense, there is no such thing in the republican party nor among the t-party morons.

Ron Paul endorsed Cruz, that's good enough for me.
