Very interesting to watch the exchange Thursday between Ted Cruz and Diane Feinstein.

He kept asking her why you can water down the 2nd Amendment, but would probably come unglued if someone tried to water down other amendments.

The mainstream media reported DiFi-- the grand dam of the U.S. Senate -- firing back at the junior senator from Texas.

She said she didn't appreciate the lecture. But, as far as I saw, she never did answer the question about why it was ok
to gerrymander the 2nd Amendment but leave the others alone.

She basically told us she was cutting us a break because in her bill, she would allow us to keep 2,200 firearms.

But, to me, the main show was it has been years since someone had gotten up in her mush like that. I don't think she knew what to do.

We were lectured about how long she had been on the judiciary committee and how long she has been in the senate.

I think given the state of the country right now, if you are a Democrat or Republican and you are in Congress, you should
be ashamed of what you've done the last 20 years.

The good news is her bill will probably die on the senate floor with the rest of her arguments.

Let's have meaningful discussion of gun control. Not it's my way or the highway because I have sat in this chair longer than you.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

The Seventieth United States Congress, (March 4, 1927 to March 4, 1929) met during the last two years of Calvin Coolidge's (Republican) presidency. The apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives was based on the Thirteenth Decennial Census of the United States in 1910. Both chambers had a Republican majority. The Great Depression began in 1928. Herbert Clark Hoover (Republican) was President 1929-1933. Repubs policies caused the Great Depression & they are the same policies of 2day.

Yup, ted cruz admitted at the cpac convention what every republican has denied for years and I agree with him on this comment. "We have got to cut corporate welfare"

I think that Cruz is probably a fine gentleman, but he is quite out of touch with the electorate. He imagines that the republican party (AKA elitists) are a powerful force in US politics. He is absolutely correct on this issue regarding the 2nd ammendment. Suzukirider, you seem quite dissallusioned by the popular vote. Remember the freedom of speech thing??? You apparently think you should be allowed to think for the rest of us retards with cell phones and televisions. HOW RUDE AND PRESUMPTUOUS.

Way to go Mr Cruz. Now if we could just get the people of this country to get their heads out of the tv set, play station, cell phone, etc, and start paying attention to whats going on in this country for a change we just might have a chance of getting our country back in shape, but it will never happen if they keep voting in the same old crooked career politicians over and over again.

Cruz is arrogant and rude. It was not necessary for him to "man-splain" anything to Diane Feinstein.

Go ahead Republicans--run a ticket with someone like Rubio or Rand Paul and you,will.lose.

The GOP already has lost.
At least, if they run a ticket with a real Conservative, they will lose for a REAL reason.

Also tell me that Diane Feinstein or Obama is humble. They are embarrassing to me.

Apparently the way to get your point is to believe it with spirit.

GOP is too wishy-washy, like "Katie" says.

Diane Feinstein has been there too long for any good that she may be doing. Thank you very much Ted Cruz. It's about time that someone in the GOP man's up and starts coming back at these arrogant politicians. Keep it coming Ted. I care little for how long she has been there in Washington. Loved Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul at CPAC and Wayne La Pierre. Great speakers and have grown a backbone. Time for John McCain and all the rest of the wishy washy Reps to go. Love Louis Gohmert too

I am proud & happy that our brand new Senator has enuf stones to address her Majesty so publicly on this issue.
It well represents the Texas spirit ,& draws cheers from me & my neighbors.
I am wondering & incredulous that NO ONE else has the IQ nor the back round in the US constitution to assail the dems. on this or any other anti-constitutional element so prevalent in the Obama administration.
Are the dems & the gop "royals" afraid of Obama that they refuse to be indignant of the many error
