From God's lips to Joe's ears

“Democratic Senator Joe Biden of Delaware joins us. He is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He joins us this morning,” says Harry Smith. “The fourth amendment is supposed to protect us from unreasonable search and seizure, do you think this big grid pattern passes that test?”

“I don't think it passes the test, but it clearly doesn't pass the test to existing statutes that say you can’t do these types of things forgetting the fourth amendment, “ replies Biden. “Harry, the bottom line here is, you have the president making a judgment that is not reviewable by Congress and we're supposed to say okay? It’s like the bank turning over all your check records without your name and giving the check numbers for every single purchase made. It patterns your behavior. You were told don't worry. That it’s not an invasion of your privacy.”

Smith responds, “The president said he would not listen to your phone calls.”

“Harry, I don't have to listen to your phone calls to know what you are doing,” says Biden. “If I know every single phone call you make, I'm able to detect every single person who you talk to and that sets up a pattern of your life which is very intrusive. And the real question is, what do they do with all this information they collect that does not have anything to do with Al Queda?"

Ha-ha, well, that's my point of view, what's yours?

I think it was Jay Leno who said Joe Biden is impeachment insurance for Obama.

Is it just me or has everyone forgotten that our congress (democrat, republican, tea party, independent) hasn't passed a budget bill yet? Am I the only republican in this state that's mad as hell at his republican senators and rep. for not doing the job they were elected to do? I went to the republican caucas for my precinct in the last primary. Four people attended! You serfs really do deserve everything you get.

You're partly right. But the house has passed at least three budgets that were DOA in the Senate.

Here is our transparent Texas Government. "Perry’s veto pen strikes Public Integrity Unit and ethics “sunset” bill"
Gov. Rick Perry unleashed his veto pen Friday — just days before a Sunday deadline — scrubbing a total of 27 bills, including money for a special division that investigates public malfeasance and an ethics proposal with new transparency reforms.

AS FOR THE T-PARTY, THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF RACIST AS PROVEN BY Tea Party Republican Ken Emanuelson . "“I’m going to be real honest with you, the Republican Party doesn’t want black people to vote if they’re going to vote 9-to-1 for Democrats.”

Hey deaf, So it is ok with you when a republican, the GOP, Republican president or a T-Party supported legislator votes for spying on citizens but you get all upset about it if it is a Democrate or as you call them liberals?

Well DEAF, DUMB and BLIND, that is a prime example of being a hypocrite !!!

Hey Don..

A gazillion Democrats also voted for the laws, both in the House and Senate. And a Democrat president signed them. Far more of them need firing than the Republicans.. but I'd replace them all with Tea Party people (and freak out the NSA/FBI/IRS/CIA nutjobs who spy on Americans.

Hey deaf, dumb and blind, guess you missed this part of my post; "GUESS WE NEED TO GET RID OF EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR EVEN ONE OF THESE LAWS THAT THE NSA OPERATES UNDER".

So Slow Joe tells the truth again. Must be off his meds Obama force feeds him.

Or maybe he is distancing himself from Obama should he be impeached or resign. All they need is a special prosecutor for the IRS scandal and he will be toast. And if Obama goes... Joe becomes President. So why not help send him under a bus? After all, Obama has pushed so many under them it would be a kind of justice.

Bin Laden was right about Old Joe.

Joe Biden, must have been in closed conference with someone's wife when the Official Lie was being handed-down to media and govt. underlings. Too stupid to know how damning the truth is.

A lot of Republicans in the Texas delegation are griping today about the NSA’s domestic surveillance program. But over the past decade — in a series of five votes — very few current GOP members of the Texas congressional delegation have voted against requests by Presidents Bush or Obama to increase federal government power over Internet data and phone records.

This is how the Texas GOP Congressional delegation has voted on the NSA laws.
GUESS WE NEED TO GET RID OF EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR EVEN ONE OF THESE LAWS THAT THE NSA OPERATES UNDER. SO LONG LOUIE, JEB, and JOHN. Why hasn't Ted filed any legislation to repeal the patriot act and all of the spy laws that the nsa operate under?

Obama, focused like a laser beam on our phone calls and private conversations.

Well, he just blew his chance as the Democratic nominee in 2016, assuming he's allowed to finish this term.
