How about these apples?
It is legal for illegals in California to pay less for college there than you would If you were sending your children to a California college.
This is from terra.com- California Supreme Court will allow undocumented immigrants to be eligible for in-state tuition in the state's universities.
This nation's ruling is the first of its kind in where it will allow illegal immigrants who graduated from state high schools to continue to receive lower, in-state tuition at California's public universities and colleges.
States like Georgia have banned undocumented immigrants from attending their universities, but California's ruling has demonstrated a controversial decisions since a group opposed to undocumented immigration tried to challenged the California law on behalf of U.S. citizens that have to pay higher tuition as out-of state students.
But now California state law will also benefit U.S. citizens who live in other states, but attend and graduate from a high school in California.
In-state undergraduate tuition at a University of California school costs $11,285 annually vs. $34,164 for out-of-state residents. At California State University schools, in-state tuition runs $4,335 annually vs. $15,495 for out-of-state residents taking 15 units per semester.
Does that make you mad?
Texas does it too. According to the new American, Other states, such as New York and Texas, have laws that also allow illegal immigrants to pay the lower in-state tuition rate.
To bad about your kids.
