It's just a game

Tyler, TX (KETK) — The U.S. Senate should be ashamed of itself.
It's like "Obamacare," they are on the verge of passing an immigration bill which is like a used car you should avoid.
The paint is new on the outside, the seats look of and the radio works, but, the transmission has sawdust poured in it and eventually the gears will grind the car to a stop.
John McCain and Lindsay Graham are wringing their hands, at least on TV, falling in love with a demographic that won't ever vote for them.
Texas Senator John Cornyn files an amendment to say this bill goes no where until the border is 90 percent secure.
John McCain laughs and ridicules him on the Senate floor.
Then, like magic, out of nowhere, the CBO comes out with a reports that says allowing all these new taxpayers in will save the nation $175-billion, which I believe is blue smoke.
Then, after hearing the chance to spend more money, McCain and Schumer of New York, who just laughed at Cornyn, now are saying Cornyn doesn't go far enough and will bring in a army of border patrol agents.
Cornyn then asks how will it be paid for...Crickets.
All the plays in this game have been called by the pPesident with John McCain and Chuck Schumer playing quarterback.
They are not serious about immigration reform.
They are serious about potential voters and money.
I guess I expect too much from leadership in Washington, D.C.
I hope this thing gets shot down like a clay pigeon in the house.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
