I've seen this show before!

For the first time in many years, I did not watch the State of the Union last night. It doesn't not matter who is president.

The State of the Union-- like the political conventions-- have just become a pep rally for the team in power. While the president talks, the TV director shows the opposite party glowering. I can still remember the Senator Hillary Clinton eye rolls.

Then, the press is all agog that Marco Rubio needed a drink of water. He did look like he was making a hostage tape when he maintained eye camera contact while reaching for the water, but forget what he said, I only was hearing the jokes.

This is what we've become--- the political Kardashians.

A new Rasmussen poll out today: 38% of Likely U.S. Voters say the country is heading in the right direction. That's horrible. We're not hearing about that. We're hearing the president wants a higher minimum wage.

Another politician spending business peoples money with no thought of what it may do to the business owners or the workers.

There is a good chance that mandate will mean a lot of minimum wage folks would be laid off. But as long as we get the TV show and the pundits can wag their tongues. It's all accepted now.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

Rasmussen (a credible polling venue unlike media polls) reports only 38% of the likely voters are pleased with the direction of this nation, yet we just had an election and 52% supported more of the same. Are we really to believe that there is a 14% divide in those always key "battleground states" or is the term "battleground state" really an invented phrase to condition the voter for a predetermined outcome. Since both parties are tied to a single source, doesn't that prove a planned agenda?

Rasmussen is not a credible polling venue, it is a polling venue that has been proven to support the right instead of being nonpartisan.

Everything that Obama says is a lie. He needs to be impeached before anymore damage to America is done. When he can't get his way he circumvents Congress and the Supreme Court. He hates our system of government in America. We have checks and balances in this country. The Judicial, Legislative and Executive. Somehow he has gotten the notion that he can take matters into his own hands. He is not a Dictator, though he would like to be. He is seizing power that does not belong to him.

Katie, now that you've realized we've been "taken-over" as you have put it, it's time you sharpen your thought to identify the ruse of democracy and the psychology of the propaganda used to keep the masses from declaring the CFR a treasonous group. We didn't elect Obama, our elections are a sham. Instead, Obama was selected by the true "powers that be" in order to "cram-down" an angeda employing the psychology of labelling him a socialist dictator wannabe. Venting on Obama is the release valve.

Raise the minimum wage that will bring in more jobs. Just how that logic works escapes me. See the minimum wage is the floor. Raise it and employers have to decide if they can afford to keep people without raising prices. They know if you raise the prices some people will have to cut back and thus the company will actually loose money.

They can only raise it so much before they have to FIRE PEOPLE.

Obama just does not get that cause to him money grows on trees or tax payers, take your pick.

Of course Paul your logic is spot-on as usual, but then, just suggesting an increase serves to fuel the "class warfare" divide which will provide media an excuse to claim anything but a socialist outcome unable to produce a winning vote. Remember the media "soap-job" on the last election? Republicans lost because they are the party of angry white men. Central to the propaganda is divide which will later justify an outcome. Govt uses media to control the masses and the FCC thwarts a free media.
