Keep your eye on the ball

Tyler, TX — Beetle Bailey meets Housewives of DC continues this day.
I mentioned Tuesday my disgust of the media loving this story about sex and a real-life cat-fight before our very eyes.
It takes our eyes off the real issues this country has to face. Like four dead in Benghazi. Or does it?
We often are treated in the national media to high thoughts given by those on the left. Let us seep in thoughts of one on the right.
Columnist Charles Krouthammer contends that General David Petraeus actually thought the administration would keep a lid of his
admitted affair with his adoring female biographer.
This love "Pentagon" as it's now jokingly called would be pish-toshed by learned member of the media hell-bent on protecting the president.
He understood that his job, his reputation, his legacy, his whole celebrated life was in the hands of the administration, and he expected they would protect him by keeping it quiet.
And that brings us to the ultimate issue, and that is his testimony may connect the two scandals, and that's the only thing that makes the sex scandal relevant. Otherwise, it would be an exercise in sensationalism and voyeurism and nothing else. The reason it's important is here's a man who knows the administration holds his fate in its hands.
In other words, the White House has used this man's disgrace over his head as a threat if he didn't tow the White House line.
YouTube video and all.
Keep your eye on the ball.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
