As I said Monday, a tip of the hat for President Obama for pulling the trigger on the bin Laden raid.
Yes, I've heard all the theories that it was really Leon Panetta that made the call and on and on. But, if this attack would have been a disaster It would be President Obama's baby.
The late JFK used to say victory has many fathers, defeat is an orphan. But, one thing that should be brought to bear- and Leon Panetta the head of the CIA didn't deny this- waterboarding was used to get vital information to get OBL.
I don't know know why some are so against a technique that probable saves more American lives and lives all over the world. Waterboarding is not cutting off fingers and beatings with a hose. It has no permanent effects.
There are other modes of interrogation that include sleep depravation and making people stand for long periods of time. But, if those techniques have to be used to save any of you in the KETK audience, I'd use it in a heartbeat.
It's so ridiculous It's ok to kill a terrorist, but wrong to waterboard him? Something is wrong with that argument.
There is no wonder why we can't get anything done in our nations capitol.
Now, everyone is trying to take credit. I'll tell you who needs to get the credit. The United States of America, that's who.
Please, let's get out of the sandbox and work on this economy now.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
