Tyler, Tx (KETK) — Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano brings us good news from the border. It's safe. Safer than its been in a generation.
Those are her words. Of course she saw things from a helicopter and an army of security.
If she feels that way, leave all the minions at home and get a blankie and go and camp our near Tucson. Camp near where illegals stream across the border and kill your livestock and are desperate.
Everything looks good from 500 to 1,000 feet.
CNS news reports The former Arizona governor highlighted "incredible" spending on border enforcement, 40-year lows in "illegal immigration numbers" and relatively low violent crime rates in major border cities like San Diego and El Paso, Texas.
"What we have seen now compared to 20 years ago is like the difference between a rocket ship and a horse and buggy," Napolitano said at a news conference after a helicopter tour.
Well, I've been to El Paso in the past year. I love the city, but there is a bad crime problem out there. It's almost ground zero for the DEA.
So, Janet. Let's party. You bring the drinks and I'll bring the chips.
One second thought, you go. I'll stay here.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
