Like the late 70s, except worse

Tyler (KETK) — In all of my years on the Earth, I have not seen the world meting down since the late 70s.
Back then, gas was too high. The world thumbed its nose at us and our president sat in the White Gouse wearing a sweater telling us the good times were really over for good, to quote Merle Haggard, and we all need to face it.
I feel the same thing all over again, except this time I'm not 19-years-old. I'm much older and the world is clearly out of control.
This week when the president's press secretary was asked about the world virtually melting down, he said, "I think that there have been a number of situations in which you've seen this administration intervene in a meaningful way that has substantially furthered American interests and substantially improved the, uh, you know, the - the tranquility of the global community."
That's the president's Press Secretary Josh Earnest. Are these people delusional or what? And the president keeps thumping his chest about immigration reform.
A CNN writer said there will be immigrants flowing into our country for years. We won't even protect our borders. And the United States Chamber of Commerce keeps trying to work out a backdoor business deal with the immigrants to work as cheap labor at factories.
Those factories need to be raided and shut down. We are in a mess.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
