Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill is on the warpath looking into the GSA debacle we reported on last week.

Remember, the General Services Administration is the government's landlord. They run the federal government buildings all over the country.

Last week we told you the head of the GSA and two of her higher-ups had quit.

The reason--- it was discovered by an accountant that the GSA had a bang-up party in Las Vegas that we paid for with our tax dollars.

It was a party costing nearly 1 million dollars.

Part of the outrage was a reception they had one night that cost more than 30,000 dollars. We paid for it.

Nothing was too good for these government workers. We also go to pay for clowns and bicycles and mind-readers. It was all part of the party.

It was bad enough for the GSA employees news of the party was reported.

But then videos of GSA employees were found on YouTube dancing and rapping and kidding how much they spent on the tax-payer dime.

They're still on there. I looked today.

Now, come to find out, some employees were awarded bonuses to spend more tax payer money.

Now more hearings. And this will be bi-partisan because Republicans are crying foul, but also many democrats, like Claire McCaskill, in swing states, are up for election.

All this in a time the government is broke.

We're being told by some politicians we have to raise taxes to make it all work and now
news is gurgling out that government employees are spending money like water being poured out of a boot?

I hope this investigation hits home and make those who spend our tax money have the responsibility to spend it responsibly.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

This is why I've been saying the problem isn't at the bottom where benefits are being paid and where the left always wants to cut first and only. It's in the gov't over head, in the middle and at the top where they never want to cut.
Notice how they always think only benefits can be cut from the budget. It must be because they care so much for the poor, minoritties, women, and the elderly that they are the ones who should suffer first.
