It's all over the news. I grabbed this from the Daily Caller which snagged it from the Free Beacon.

Attorney General Eric Holder wants to explore "common sense" gun reforms, like mandating that gun owners would have to wear bracelets before they could activate their firearms.

Holder made his remarks while testifying before a U.S. House of Representatives appropriations committee on Friday. He acknowledged the existence of the Second Amendment, which gives people the unqualified right to own and carry weapons, but nevertheless expressed support for several gun control measures that he described as "common sense reforms."

A smart gun requires the shooter to be wearing a bracelet or watch with an RFID chip that communicates with the gun and allows it to fire.which means your friend could not shoot your gun if you were at the range. Or you don't think they could just "turn off" the firearm's abiity to fire, do you?

Maybe we can have an Obamacare-like smart gun registry to make sure the bracelet is "on-line." What I think this is all about is you can have your guns, they just won't fire.

This is from the same folks who told you if you like your doctor, you can keep'em."

No thanks, Eric.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

News flash, Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will spend $50 million this year to build a nationwide grassroots network on gun control in a direct challenge to the National Rifle Association, The New York Times reported.

Bloomberg, who has NYPD bodyguards, and his Mayors Against Illegal Guns, having several FELONS on the list, is now hiding and he has a new Everytown for Gun Safety to try to fake people out.

Just another try to disfranchise people of their 2nd Amendment rights.

Ever notice Holder said voter ID laws were to 'complicated' for voters yet he feels this bracelet thing is not complicated for people to own guns?

Holder and his DOJ and the IRS are being made into Obama's political machine justice be damned. Anyone actually think he'll act on the indictment against Lois Lerner the House is planning on handing down? He's probably busy with investigating far more heinous crimes like looking for any unpaid parking tickets by Cruz and Rubio.

It's apparent that Holder and the DOJ are more interested in persecuting citizens than prosecuting criminals. JP Morgan is a good example. They helped Madoff swindle investors out $65 billion and were convicted of a felony and paid a $1.7 billion fine. 2.6% of what they stole. Because Holder knows on Animal Farm USA, all the animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

And notice idiot and snyder don't even comment on the actual issue, Holder and his anti-gun push.

Just ad hominem attacks is all they do.

Hope for change in 2014. Let's vote the Democrats out so see what it;s like without socialism.

Notice how Neil pumps these absurd ideas from assorted gov. officials at times when he can't report on foreign events. - just sayin'

Yeah Synderpal it's a slow news day. I finally figured out that Time Warner owns NBC and CNN. That's why we keep getting bombarded with these non news issues. But don't worry if the news gets too slow CNN will just create some more fake news footage for Neal to opine upon. Like they've done so often in the past.

I'll get this 'bracelet' when the COPS and the MILITARY use them as standard issue. But they never will.

See the 2nd Amendment, and it's the ONLY AMENDMENT, says... SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

Even the 1st amendment does not have that all encompassing prohibition.

So Eric 'Heydrich' Holder can just go back to selling guns to the Mexican mob.

Won't be to long when he can retire and move in with Janet 'babykiller' Reno.

I think that I will stick with my old " Dumb " guns thank you. They work when I want them to and have never just started shooting without my assistance and permission. They may not be as smart as the new ones, but they mind exceptionally well.

They just want to protect a criminal's right to commit a crime against you.
