Neal Barton's POV

POV, the good and the bad

POV

I got a voicemail from a viewer from this past weekend.

He was on me about being negative. As always, I look for constructive criticism.

And I started thinking what's positive. What's positive is we have an election and can perhaps change the way the direction the country is moving.

Our ambassador and three consulate guards have been killed. We don't know the whole story yet. There is still conflicting stories from the administration.

Gasoline prices are still unmercifully high. We had people in the newsroom giddy about gas perhaps going down 50 cents a gallon this winter-- perhaps.

They say that is good. But that means gas will still be $2.90 a gallon. Is that positive?

The price of everything is up because the price is fuel is so high. Is that good?

The unemployment numbers are just were the were when the president took office. This, after all the shovel ready stimulus. Is that good?

The biggest, in my opinion, strong dictators in the world are endorsing president Obama for re-ection.

We're talking Chavez, Castro and Putin. Is that good?

We have 16 trillion dollars in debt. I know that's not good.

The country is suffering from a similar malaise it was in the late 70s when Jimmy Carter was president. We've lost our role as leader in the world. That's not positive.

We're the best nation in the world. Now, that's good.

Leading from behind doesn't work. That's not good.

So, sir, .thank you for helping write this commentary. You're right. We need some good news. But you want to keep things on the same road.

I think we need change in the other direction. I think that would be good.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

2600 Penn. Ave Washington D.C.?????????? Who's address is that old buzzard????????
Are you talking about the White House?????? If you are, the real question here should be, HOW STUPID IS A PERSON WHO CLAIMS TO BE A U.S. CITIZEN WHEN THEY DO NOT KNOW THE ADDRESS TO THE WHITE HOUSE???? IF ROMNEY WINS; FOR SALE ALL AMERICAN JOBS TO FOREIGN NATIONS MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO MITT ROMNEY / BAIN CAP.

IF ROMNEY WINS: FOR SALE SOCIAL SECURITY TRUST FUND TO WALL STREET

More important to you, if Romney wins your government pension in jeopardy.

you are correct, everyones pension ie...Social Securiety will be in jeopardy.

What is your POV on this Neal?
NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) — Indiana Republican Senate candidate Richard Mourdock said Tuesday when a woman is impregnated during a rape, "it's something God intended."

Now that we've covered your good and bad, let's say something about this media's censorship, the ugly.

My cocern about the election is that we won't charge direction, just how fast we go over the cliff. Racing over it under Obama, or walking under Romney.
