??? Pulling a gun on the Amish

It's a picture of federal agents with guns drawn.
They are doing a sting operation on one of the most deadliest and feared groups in American.
No, not the Aryan Nation, not the Hell's Angel's or militant Black Panthers.
The agents are drawing down on the Amish.
The Amish!
Just in case you didn't know, this has been a story for a while.
Seems in Washington D.C., the Amish have been selling unpasteurized milk.
They've been crossing state lines from Pennsylvania to Washington D.C. to sell milk to the crunchy people who want to eat naturally.
Mr. Conservative writes America today, force taxpayers to pay for Government officials vacations, but decide you want the same milk our grandparents drank and be ready to face the fury of a taxpayer funded sting operation.
The Food and Drug Administration, which launched a full investigation complete with a 5 a.m. surprise inspection and a straw-purchase sting operation against Daniel Allgyer's Rainbow Acres Farm, said unpasteurized milk is unsafe and it was exercising its due authority to stop sales of the milk from one state to another.
America must put an end to the over regulation and an out of control big government.
A citizen can't sell fresh milk across the PA state lines. But a government official can sell illegal guns across the border in Mexico.

Fat cops make me laugh... therefor I laugh everytime I get around Tyler.
I think it would be interesting to compare crime rates among the general public and the (So called) law enforcement agencies we have in Smith County. Personally, I have been arrested on false charges, and while in Smith County Jail I was severly injured by a guard, but no-one cares about that. Consider Troup, TX for a minute. The whole police force was arrested and removed from office. Followed by federal time for some of the crooks. Several constables from Troup have been arrested recently.

rew4946, I think your anger is misplaced. The police and judges aren't at fault for ridiculous laws, or our Chinese held debt. It is the lawmakers in congress who assert the tyranny of the majority to dictate how we all are allowed to live. Now, I agree that some LE can be corrupt or so blinded by politics that they no longer protect and serve, but these are exceptions to the rule. Judges interpret law, cops enforce it. If a law is unjust, the blame lies with those who created it.
Actuall both you and New are right. Corrupt local government and law enforcement is but a mirror of our state and federal situation. Sadly, the only difference between cops and crooks are that one has a badge. Attorney General Holder is the example, not the exception.
The criminals are the ones in enforcement, teach your children that the government is not there friends but the enemy. Don't let your children play with the families of any government or elected people, they are a threat to the honest people in america. Judges, FBI, IRS, Sheriff, police etc. are a threat to our freedom and safety. It's sad that our country is run by these out of control people, I hope some day we can take it back from them before China takes control.

This is a good example of how legislators can write a law that makes criminals out of otherwise peaceful citizens. We saw it with alcohol prohibition, now we see it with drug prohibition. All of these laws were for "our own good" and all of them regulate an activity that by itself is peaceful and honest. We need to stop wasting money on forcing people into a certain lifestyle and focus on real crime like murder, rape, theft, and fraud.
Ron Paul says we're becoming a fascist nation with the loss of our rights to have a lawyer present when arrested or the right to bail. (NDAA Law passed 1/31/3011) The Attorney Generals office involved in gun running, our nation in a continual state of war. Now the Amish are villains, the muslim are terrorist, the Catholics are pedophiles, the Baptist have ties to the Klan, the Mormans are a religious sect. Ron Paul is wrong, we're not becoming a fascist nation, we ARE a fascist nation.
Corporatism is defined as running the state by large organizations, labor unions, large corporations.The USA is now defined as a corporate fascist nation with power divided among the Industrial Military complex, Medical complex, Financial complex, and the Communication complex, all pushing your freedom, and liberty out of America.
Sadly our incompetent illegal federal government is so intent on being a total dictatorship that no humor is possible. obama and his czars have to go before we totally lose our republic!! Eliminate all but the absolute essential agencies!!!
