Rethinking VA hospitals

Tyler — In my opinion, there needs to be a lot of house cleaning and restructuring at government agencies. However, one agency which really needs to be scoured is the Veterans Affairs and those running veteran's hospitals.
If there is one group of people who deserve the very best from the American people, it's veterans. We treat them like hired help. Please tote that rifle and step through those mines, but when we are done with you, get out.
It's true. I have never heard one veteran who reports a great experience.
That being said of course, I'm not talking about the employees who work there. I means the folks running it at the top.
In case you didn't know, there is a veterans hospital in Arizona where 40 patients have died. The investigation continues, but on the books, it's supposed to look as if everything was done by the book.
Local Congressman Louie Gohmert was quoted in CNS News saying, "This isn't just negligence we're talking about. This is intentional misconduct - putting our nation's veterans on secret lists where they die," .
Gohmert said that Congress will hold hearings, but that hearings won't be enough. No, it won't. Forty Americans die waiting for care and there is not outrage?
Gohmert warns due to Obamacare, all Americans will be vulnerable to this type of neglect, He said, "This is what some of us had feared for the rest of the nation. This is where socialized medicine goes; this is where Obamacare is going. People going on lists, the panel lists procedures you get, or don't get, at what ages."
I think this ought to scare the heck out of everyone.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
