TYLER — This is too rich for words.
In fact, I cannot believe I have lived long enough to see this.
A new Pew Hispanic poll has been published.
The economy is so in the ditch in the USA, illegals are not wanting to come here anymore and many here are going back to Mexico.
Can you believe this?
And as the Washington Times piece adds today here in gringo-land, we are immersed in glitzy TV
vacation commercials showing sand beaches and beautiful women.
But most of Mexico is nothing to be proud of. It's poor and is broke.
And now Mexicans are choosing to stay home or go back home.
Charles hurt writes this in todays op-ed piece.
"Now we know why all the politicians in Washington have finally agreed to beef up security and build a fence along the southern border. They're desperate to keep all the Mexicans from leaving.
Authors of the Pew report call the stunning shift in migration patterns historic. Not since the great depression, they say, has a shift of this magnitude occurred along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Not since the great depression?
It's almost enough to make you pine for the good old days of rampant illegal immigration.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
