This is too rich for words.

In fact, I cannot believe I have lived long enough to see this.

A new Pew Hispanic poll has been published.

Guess what?

The economy is so in the ditch in the USA, illegals are not wanting to come here anymore and many here are going back to Mexico.

Can you believe this?

And as the Washington Times piece adds today here in gringo-land, we are immersed in glitzy TV
vacation commercials showing sand beaches and beautiful women.

But most of Mexico is nothing to be proud of. It's poor and is broke.

And now Mexicans are choosing to stay home or go back home.

Charles hurt writes this in todays op-ed piece.

"Now we know why all the politicians in Washington have finally agreed to beef up security and build a fence along the southern border. They're desperate to keep all the Mexicans from leaving.

Authors of the Pew report call the stunning shift in migration patterns historic. Not since the great depression, they say, has a shift of this magnitude occurred along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Not since the great depression?

It's almost enough to make you pine for the good old days of rampant illegal immigration.

Ehhh...not really.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

The border citizens of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona are still suffering at the hands of the illegal aliens trespassing on their lands, stealing and vandalizing their property, and in general being an ever-present danger. America has lost much of its sovereignty through the failure of our federal govt to live up to its obligation to its citizens....all so pandering politicians think they might get one more vote! Pray for America!!

Obama is doing a great job...even ICE stated in their report in 2011 that the Obama Administration has deported more illegal immigrants in just 3 years than the George W. Bush Administration did in all 8 years he was in office.

What bolts for brains Don is trying to tell us is that OBama has announced that he will only deport convicted felons illegals which I call the one more time rule. If caught in a felony then the government will give the illegal a free ride back to Mexico, and the illegal can walk across one more time. If you're an American you just go to jail and do the time. Ron Paul has said he will move troops from Afghanistan to the US border. Time to defend America's constitution and her borders.

And Bush and the Republuicans did not and will not deport any illegal immigrants.

I find it funny you're complaining about Bush not deporting illegals when you argue so hard against any law giving law enforcement the power to do so.

The power is already there. I am not willing to compromise any citizens rights or liberties to get it done though, are you?

But you're ok with a president who signed the NDAA law placing us all under martial law?? Like I said, you've got bolts for brains.

Guess you were ok with George H.W. Bush signing an agreement with the United Nations that would allow them to come in and place us all under martial law if there was total civil discourse.

When PT Barnum talked about childbirth, he had Neal in mind. Some people are like that you know, put a name behind a load of malarchy and they bite it; hook, line, and sinker. Like numbers from the CBO, a fact from some expert never named, or a poll from a not so disinterested party. To back-up his ignorance he cites a negative economy, yes negative for legal tax paying skilled labor, not so negative for cheap labor with free entitlements like school and hospital. Election year media lies- duh.
