Should we apologize now?

Last week it hit the fan concerning the U.S. military accidentally burning two Korans.

Then, all hell breaks loose.

Our president apologizes at warp speed. He always does. And we all need to apologize when something is our fault.

But, there is the difference of apologizing and groveling.

The president apologized, now we have a U.S. general in Afghanistan apologizing as well.

Since the burning escapade two U.S. soldiers have been killed from the melee, and as many as four others have been killed as well.

Where is our apology?

Now Hamid Karzi, the president of Afghanistan, says those responsible need to be tried and then punished.

You may have noticed tried, then punished. They legal system being different than ours.

This Afghan soldier who killed our folks was probably armed and trained by us!!!

Where is our apology? Are we not over there to help?

Never mind if you agree with us being in Afghanistan, but we are trying to help that country, and they have us
walking on eggshells.

Walking on eggshells because we allow them to. It seems that president Obama, and now the military, cannot wait to always say I'm sorry on behalf of this county.

And from what I am hearing, all the hell that is being raised over there is not from the rank and file people.

It's from the Taliban.

Maybe before we offend them, we should go ahead and send them a card in advance.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

We can apologize to them for burning their koran when they apologize to us for burning our flag.

President Bush was put in the same situation and apologized as well. Were you there to criticize him too? I doubt it.

What we should do is turn the whole of Afghanistan into fused silica. If there is anyone left; then we could apologize for not being able to bring their society of savages out of the 7th century. The main impediment being, of course; their worship of the pedophile ingrained through their precious koran!

We must be civil to our opponents and treat them with respect. However anyone chooses to treat us, it's important that we be better than our enemies. (This goes for American politics as well.)

We have no business in Afghanistan. A nation 15 Trillion in debt should bring our men home, Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who has said he will bring our troops home now, and media calls him dangerous-go figure. Media is our enemy within.
