Tyler, TX — Well, are we feeling good about the next 4 years?
The people have spoken and we're off on a new direction. Hmmmmmmm , maybe not. The Senate won't pass a budget. Harry Reid is trying to go around what the founding fathers intended.
He just doesn't like other senators filibustering bills he likes. But, it all boils down to this right now. We've spent too much. I've used the words billion and trillion so many times it makes millions seem like pocket money.
Head of the Treasury Tim Geithner was asked about caps on how much money we could borrow against ourselves. He has a new plan, no cap. Borrow as much as you want.
CNS News reports Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said Friday that Congress should stop placing legal limits on the amount of money the government can borrow and effectively lift the debt limit to infinity.
Why didn't I think of that? We can just borrow and not make any tough choices.
There are too many entitlement to serve. Too many voting blocks to cater to. There is 49% that needs those gimmies.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
