Stephen King, not so shining

I've seen one Stephen King movie, The Shining.

Most people loved it. I was bored.

Glad I kept my money for the rest of the Stephen King books. This looks looks as if Mr. King is writing more fiction or fantasy.

This week, through social media, he's gone on a tirade against conservatives and Christians. The IJReview picked up a story off a website called Sooper Mexican.

They report Mr. King tweeted out "revised Tea Party gospel. Suffer the little children come to me. Unless they're undocumented kids from Central America."

Mr. King also wrote: "Much easier to be a Christian when the little children are not in your back yard."

Well, the author Sancho Panza deliciously took Mr. King and his hypocrisy to task. He wrote:  ironically, there are very few illegal immigrants in Stephen King's own back yard in Bangor, Maine, but there are many crazed fans who like to visit his house just to get a glimpse of their hero. Guess what Stephen has to keep them out? He's got a big 'ole fence!

Of course, it's easier to criticize those who face the brunt of an illegal alien influx from your comfy gated house in the Northeast. In fact, Stephen King has "no trespassing" signs around his home, but apparently it's immoral for America to have them on its border. As many noted on Twitter, he's not running to house and feed the illegal aliens streaming over the border, nor has anyone seen him donating his time and money to help them personally, as have many Christians and many conservatives.

Quite a few of his fans were disappointed and angry about his tweets. What a hypocrite.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

deaf you do know that rick perry , and greg abutt both took an oath to uphold both the U.S. and Texas laws don't you? So why have they NOT done their jobs deaf. Neither has gone after those in Texas that violate both U S and state laws by employing illegal immigrants and neither have called for any investigation of any business for violations of both state or federal laws. THATS THEIR JOB DEAF or is ok with you for republatards to pick & chose what laws are enforced?

And you do know don if any illegals are caught by Texas LEOs they have to give them to the INS and Border Patrol. Who is in charge of that don?

Why OBAMA! And what does he do with those illegals? Why he gives them places to stay over here.

Thats right deaf just as any other criminal offender it is the responsibility of the government to provide them a place to stay until they have received their due process. I know you hate our Constitution but it applies to illegal immigrants as well as US Citizens and if you hate our Constitution so much maybe you should find a new Country to live in.

That is correct deaf but why are they not arresting them and turning them over deaf? H3ll in Tyler, Longview, Palestine & Jacksonville anyone can find a group of illegals hanging around waiting on someone to come by and offer them work yet the police LEO's just drive by and do nothing but look.

don... Texas & U.S. labor laws are superseded by Federal labor laws. You did know that, right?

Title III, Interior Enforcement addresses E-Verify. There is one thing in the bill deaf that Rick Perry is against, said he would veto any legislation that required businesses to us E-Verify. Then we have Gregg Abbott who should be impeached for not doing his job enforcing Texas & U.S. labor laws. Guess it is ok with you for republatards to pick & chose what laws they will enforce right deaf?

Jun 27, 2013 · WASHINGTON -- The Senate passed a politically fraught immigration reform bill on Thursday The bill passed 68 to 32, picking up all Democrats and 14 Republicans.Senators in the bipartisan "gang of eight" that drafted the bill -- Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) -- patted each other on the back.

call xof news or rus limpbumb or idiot hannity and ask them or just look it up deaf. You think you know it all then you should know how to find it deaf

don... what is this bill you are claiming is just sitting there? What's it's name and house number?

don,

I get my child death rates from the Center of Disease Control (CDC), National Center for Child Death Child Deaths Review, and Health Resources and Services Administration.

"why is there a year old bill sitting in the house of reps"..

1. A 'bill' is not necessary a good bill. It has not moved cause most feel it's a bad one.

2. Reid said he would not allow any bills to come in. Reid, if you remember, is the Majority Leader in the Senate and a Democrat.

Well deaf my "compassion" is with the U. S. Constitution that you hate and the rule of Law that you know nothing about. My stats come from the conservative CPPP think tank that the Texas Republicans use for information. If hobby lobby wanted to change china then they should become a ministry instead of a for profit business where their profits go towards mandated abortions.I agree, illegal alien children flooding the country must stop so why is there a year old bill sitting in the house of reps

And don, I don't know where you get your stats on child death rates.

The ones I find say Texas is 16th, tied with Kansas and Missouri.

Christians buying products from Communist China? Who knew!

don, the only way you change other countries is to trade and hope to get Christians to go to China and interact with their people while they send people here and we talk to them here. If you don't trade with them... there will be no contact, thus no chance to change their views.

Simple, no?

Don, this "compassion" you seem to have with these illegal alien children flooding the country.

Will you have that "compassion" if 5 million kids show up? 10 million? 20? What if Africa starts shipping them here by the millions? China? Middle East? See they all have violence in their counties to. Heck India has awful crime. Shall we take 50 million Indian children?

And that is why it has to stop Don. They have to solve their problems in their countries, no ship them here.

so it is bad because it employees 20 thousand new Border Patrol agents to stop illigel immigration deaf? are you saying t-idiot republicans are against that? That is what is in the bill that has been in the housr of republatards for more than a year.

The hypocrisy belongs to the so called conservative Christians. " I am pro- life just as long as it for the un-born children of America. The lives of those children that are already born in America and around the world do not matter. So what if their parents can not afford to feed them or protect them even though their parents are working two or three jobs. So what if Texas has the highest child death rate per capita in the US. We got ours & they should have gotten theirs if they didn't to bad"

The hypocrisy belongs to the so called conservative Christians. Look at Hobby Lobby, "we do not believe in birth control or abortions based on our Christian values(in America only). We buy a majority of the products that we sell in our stores from a communist nations that has the worst human rights record in the world and who also forces its citizens to have abortion so we can bring in more money for ourselves it doesn't matter that the millions that we send to china goes for forced abortions"

The children being sent to invade the US are being ABANDONED BY THEIR PARENTS.

Now is that Christian?

Mexican police and military are allowing coyotes to sneak them across and abandon them.

Now is that Christian?

And you guys think the Tea Party is somehow UN-Christian to want the border closed so TERRORIST, MURDERS, RAPIST, GANGS, etc.. can't get in with these 'children'.

Yea, right.

...glad to have you in the mix, confab... don't know if even t-swillers would claim Sheila... she, deaf, conserve. cowboy dude, etc. are all probably too far over the edge for the swiller-crazies to accept. Anyone living in ET who isn't in lockstep with the gomer followers, those who speak their anarchistic/hatred/racist bilge, and certainly don't march single-file in an acceptable ET ultra-conservative religion, "need not apply."

Sheila... Sheila... Sheila... for heaven's sake, take your meds and go back to bed! May God save you from your ugly disposition, your all-consuming hatred, and from the devil's clutches. The devil certainly must love that you're on his side, but we seriously have enough trouble to go around without you putting your two cents of hate in the mix! Oh, how I wish this one angry Black woman would shut up!

You guys can bash Christian groups all you want. The founders of this country had predominately Christian beliefs. They stated plainly that if society didn't APPLY the teaching of Christ to their own personal lives our country would deteriorate. Muslim, Jewish, and Atheist groups haven't opened any soup kitchens, food banks, or orphanages. Christianity brought you AA, the YMCA, the Salvation Army, and yes even Goodwill. Christians minister to all those Americans you won't give the time of day.

This is The Treaty of Tripoli negotiated by David Humphreys who was appointed to do so by President George Washington on March 30, 1795 and was ratified by the United States on June 10, 1797. Some of the founders of this country had predominately Christian beliefs but not all. On the doctrine of separation of church and state as it applies to the founding principles of the United States Government.
people in America are free to believe what ever religion they chose or to be free from religion.

Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen [Muslims],—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan [Muslim] nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

Nobody in America has a right to impose their religious beliefs on any other person no matter what religion it is....includung Christianity. No elected official has a right to attempt to pass any law that would impose any religious belief on any person no matter what religion it is including Christianity.
That is the principles that the founding fathers applied to the U. S. Constitution & why you will not find christianity in the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution.

You're right Don. No one should impose their religious views on another. Adams read from the Vedic texts regularly. Jefferson wrote his own New Testament Bible. They were open to other view points. The founders intent was that everyone would apply their own beliefs, to their own life. A self regulated society. Not a society of Me first with a situational ethical standard. Like Narcissus, Americans are enamoured of their own reflection.

No you won't find the term Christianity in the Declaration, but you will find about 4 references to God.

And the belief in GOD is not the same as the belief in Christianity jpttm. Who's GOD is referenced about 4 times in the Declaration jpttm?

Here you go jpttm a document written by the founding fathers, "Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—"

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph and Who's living Word is Christ

Where does it say that in the Declaration of Independance or the US Constitution or in any of the founding documents of this United States of America jpttm?

I refuse to believe you are that ignorant to the Christian faith of the founders. So I'm trying to figure out if you're among those who desperately try to deny it, if you're among the morality is the only evil crowd, or just trying to be contradictory.

No I am not ignorant to Christian Faith but you are igfnorant to what the founding fathers believed in, as I have posted a document written for George Washington and ratified by the full congress that states that America is NOT a Christian Nation. THAT IS A MATTER OF FACT AND WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION BY THE FOUNDING FATHERS.

The Treaty of Tripoli negotiated by David Humphreys who was appointed to do so by President George Washington on March 30, 1795 and was ratified by the United States on June 10, 1797.

:..but you, neal, can probably be found in the front row of whatever church you might attend Sunday mornings, but be at the head of the parade to demand that all those "dangerous 13 and under" kids be kicked to the curb with your Doc Martins on Monday morning, shipped back to gang infested South American countries, knowing full well that they might face injury or death... right?

Stephen King can mock Christianity with impunity because his promotions team (natl. media) has discriminated against Christians since Zionism took control of our media. King is of that group which through "ethnic clanism" shuts-out all others to monopolize an industry. Mel Gibson made the same comment and was black-listed from Hollywood leading him to produce "The Passion of the Christ" in Italy. International banking; Federal Law Enforcement, Natl. Gov., are all subject to this discrimination.

You make a good point Shelia. If anyone would care to read the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (considered antisemetic). They would see a striking similarity to our current world. Most people are too bigoted to even see the truth. Netanyahu is Jewish. So was Sammy Davis Jr. They aren't the same race are they? They are members of the same religion. If you think Jew is a race, you win the racist award. As a Christian my loyalties lie with the US. Where do Jewish Americans loyalties lie? In Zion?

Haha King is right. Tea Party Christians don't follow the words of Jesus Christ at all. They spit in all he stood for. King asked America to treat children with decency and of course this upset the people filled with hate and bigotry. Jesus will laugh so hard when you try to get into heaven.

You are correct they are the hypocrites. Non Christians look at them and say, "If that is what a Christian is then No thanks". Islam is the fastest growing religion in America because of the Tea Party Christians !!

While you point the finger at Tea party Christians what about the Vatican? The local Catholic Diocese is asking for donations of clothing and toys. Why doesn't the Pope hock one of those big gold crosses in the Vatican and follow Christs example? The Vatican owns thousands of properties around the globe. They have extensive holdings in the US, and all the countries these children come from. Where is the Pope's leadership in this crisis? Government custody is seldom humanitarian in nature.
