tyler, tx — So what is the deal with Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City?
Is he now nanny of the world?
First, he goes after sugary drinks in New York City.
Second, he makes crazy gun control remarks telling cops they need to go on strike if cities don't tighten up gun laws to his King Nanny's expectations.
Now, he is telling all New York City hospitals they should hide baby formulas and force women to breast feed.
When it comes to children and breast feeding, let me say I am not exactly and expert, but you talk about a billionaire do-gooder that is out of control.
It was written in the New York Post though, formula-makers themselves note "breast milk is best" in their ads. Mike Bloomberg feels that's what is lacking for women, should they decide not to breastfeed, is education. They must not know that breast milk is best. Never mind if they physically can't breastfeed or don't get any maternity leave or simply find breastfeeding to be more trouble than it's worth. They will be educated.
What's next? Women whom he thinks are not buxom enough cannot have children.
We are getting seriously out of control when politicians from any strip start telling us what's good for us.
I'll say it again, he needs to fix potholes and let families handle their own business.
If you are a woman, you need to raise that child and nurse it or nurture it any way you want without getting lectures from anyone.
Thats my point of view, what's yours.
