What a surprise! #sarcasm

Oh, my gosh.

What a surprise.

On the same week "Obamacare" turns three years old, the secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelious, admits
"Obamacare," lovingly referred to as the affordable health care act, will cost more money than they thought.

This, from the Wall Street Journal:

"Ms. Sebelius's remarks come weeks before insurers are expected to begin releasing rates for plans that start on January 1, 2014, when key provisions of the health law kick in. Premiums have been a sensitive subject for the Obama administration, which is counting on elements in the health law designed to increase competition among insurers to keep rates in check. The administration has pointed to subsidies that will be available for many lower-income Americans to help them with the cost of coverage."

Let's see.

Let's add millions of people to the program and tell the American people the costs will go down. We can depend on low information voters to swallow this lock, stock and barrel.

The paper goes on to add:

"Who knew all these mandates would be so expensive? Oh, that's right: ObamaCare critics, the most thoroughly vindicated group in modern American political history."

The health care law is not about health care. Never was.

It's about government taking over every step of your lives.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

P 58-59 in the Health car law allows for the Govt' to " withdraw any moneys out of any citizens banks accts without notifying in any amount".
Cyprus is just the precursor for USA.

I fully suspect as the cost rises the quality will be inversely proportional. You may quote me on that.

You are right Neal and I couldn't have said it any better.

If indeed you are against government taking over every aspect of people's lives, then the restrictions against reprodutive freedoms must really alarm you. Or, where you only referring to those restrictions that affect men?

Well they passed it in order to see what was in it. Now we know so we should REPEAL IT and send Pelosi and Reid the bill.

By 2014 it will self-destruct due to lack of money. Yes way underfunded and since it is a tax instead of a mandate it cannot be a PUNITIVE tax. Thus they cannot raise it much and the whole house of cards will collapse. Justice Robert's slow motion time bomb is about to explode.

Doctors, more specifically geneticist, have identified a genetic link to obesity. Obananacare states that obese people are required to pay more for their insurance. If it is illegal(constitution) to discriminate by race, a genetic condition then, how is it legal to penalize people by their size? Where are all those constitutional experts from Harvard and in Congress when the "not so" average American needs them ?
