Everyone is asking me my rake on the Republican race.

I tell them, I dunno. And I really mean that.

I keep hearing all the conventional wisdom about Newt can't win, Romney is a suit puppet and the back and forth.

I think this election is so different that rules and indicators that are normally used as indicators won't necessarily predict the future.

Just three months ago, Saturday Night Live was making fun of Newt in the debates that he was just there for fun and to hang out.

Now he has a chance to win the no nomination.

Some say he can't win the general election, others say he can.

I say no one knows.

I see all the TV pundits. They are paid to come on TV and give their opinion. But I really think they are flummoxed.

They have to say something, but I think they are just winging it. I think no one knows how all this will turn out.

This is a time that we fish or cut bait on the type of government that we want. But you can see and feel the world turning.

The Republican king makers don't know what to do.

And those who look back in history are finding this time, you cant look backwards. The answers don't lie there anymore.

The answers are in the future. We've never been here before.

That's my point of view, what's yours?

none of the above

Gingrich, Romney, and Santorum are all just slightly different variations of the same old Republicrat establishment formula. They claim to want smaller government, but not when it comes to pushing their own system of values on the rest of us. The left does it too, just less with religious values and more with social justice. Both push their idea of what is "right" and legislate in that direction. We need a president that will stand for liberty, not favor one group over another.

I fear that no matter who gets elected they'll cling to Kaynesian economic policies of the last eighty years like a rat to a sinking ship. Such policies have destroyed the American economy and doesn't have the tools to repair it. And yes Don that includes all presidents, even Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2 and unbelievably Obama. Real free market policies and flat taxes are deemed "voodoo economics". The Kaynesians in charge can't/won't see they can and will work.

I couldn't agree more and of the four GOP candidates only one proposes emergency action toward restoring a sound currency, Ron Paul, and our media ridicules or ignores him. I am forced to contend that ALL national media is an enemy to our land.
