Why not Chicago

Today was Michael Brown's funeral in Missouri. The White House sent three representatives to the service.

Okay, I wish they also would have sent more of a representation at the general's funeral who was shot dead a few weeks ago. As far as I have read--- nothing.

Right now the investigation into what happened in Ferguson continues by those qualified to find out what happened as well as others who really need to wait and see what transpired that day a few weeks ago.

While all this was going on in Missouri, I asked someone in the newsroom why are kids killed in Missouri any more important that kids shot and killed in Chicago.

CNS News reported at least 42 people have been shot in Chicago since Friday afternoon, and the six who died include a three-year-old child and two teenage boys, one of them 14 and the other 16, WBBM-TV reported on Monday.

The CBS station reported that the 3-year-old was accidentally shot by his father; the two teenagers were shot in separate incidents by other young men, and at least one of those attacks may have been gang-related; and three adults died in shootings at different locations by assailants who fled.

"Additionally, two males were fatally shot by Chicago Police during separate incidents Sunday night," WBBM reported.

Both men were killed when they reportedly pointed their guns at officers, reports said. Both shootings are under police review.

Vice President Joe Biden was heading to Chicago on Monday to headline a fundraiser for Gov. Pat Quinn and to pitch an increase in the minimum wage in an appearance with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Where is the outcry there. Where is the outcry?

That's my point of view, what's yours?

You think it might be because the kidd that was killed in in Missouri was killed by the local Government who has legal authority over the citizens and in Chicago those kidds are killed by other citizens who do not have any legal authority over those they kill.

Crime statistics aren't politically correct that's one reason they're omitted from most news stories. Blacks comprise about 13% of the population yet they comprise 50% of all murder victims. Of that percentage 90% were killed by another black person. The reverends Sharpton & Jackson should be out front about the root causes of the problem. Public schools are worse than in the 60's. Instead they fan the flames of division and ignore what's happening around them.
