TYLER-Tyler police arrested a man Saturday who apparently wanted to be a part of the force, without all that complicated training stuff.

Police say Jairo Ortega, 22, had a flashing blue and red light on the dash of his pickup and was trying to stop another vehicle near the Home Dept on Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler. When he saw a police cruiser behind him, he switched the light off, but was arrested for impersonating a public servant.

Kenny, that is BARNEY FIFE, Andy's sidekick.

In the first place mexicans were here before the pilgrims came from England so white people should go back to Europe where they came from, mexicans where here in North America so they are more American because they were here before the white Europeans

What was the prank? Like, he was just joking? I don't get the prank.

Hey Barney five, Did Andy take away your gun?

Number 5 is alive!

Barney Five?

The police should check with ICE on this individual as well as Homeland Security watch list!! Either way i'm pretty sure he will never place a real badge on.

DON't JUDGE!a person by their color. why do white people always think that because u look hispanic they asume u are from MEXICO!NO some of us are more American than u.so should I call INS or ICE on the 18 yr old white male person who was intoxicated and wrecked his car at the movie place on SOUTH BROADWAY maybe he's ilegal from another country why not run his info to check his legal status!!!

How do you know white people have made these comments? Might have been black, Asian or even another mexican. Walk the talk, sister.

By the way, I'll never consider people who snuck into this country as citizens or Americans, no matter how many generations removed from the "river crossing."
