NEW DETAILS: Preliminary autopsy report in Baby Amora case

RUSK COUNTY - New details in the case of baby Amora Carson.

You may remember the one-year-old was found bludgeoned to death last week by some sort of tool, maybe a hammer.

Her mom and step-father were arrested one day later — accused of murdering the infant.

This morning — sources close to the investigation — tell KETK-TV a preliminary autopsy report on Amora — shows she died from "blunt force trauma."

It's still unclear if Amora's ultimate death was sustained from beatings to the head, body or both.

Sources say Amora also had 15-20 bite marks on her body.

We've also learned Tyler attorney Don Killingsworth will represent the mother - 18-year-old Jesseca Carson.

The judge in the case appointed Longview attorney James Hagan to represent 18-year-old Blaine Milam.

Judge Bob Richardson issued a gag order in the case Monday.
