President Obama Gives Commencement Speech among Protesters

SOUTH BEND, In. - President Barack Obama will give the commencement address at the University of Notre Dame while greeted by hundreds of anti-abortion activists.

Police arrested at least five people during demonstrations at the Roman Catholic university.

The President said he supports abortion rights, but he says the procedure should be rare.

President Obama is also to receive an honorary degree during Sunday's ceremony.

Among those arrested was Norma McCorvey, the "Roe" in the "Roe v. Wade" case that led to abortion becoming legalized.
