President Obama laments Kennedy's death

CHILLMARK, Mass. - President Barack Obama laments Ted Kennedy's death today, saying his work in Congress helped bring new opportunities to millions of Americans — including himself.
President Obama describes Kennedy as a colleague, counselor and friend who was a "guardian" for his family, and a "defender of a dream" for the country.
