President Obama says no FOX
WASHINGTON D.C. - President Obama and his administration are in the hot seat after trying to issolate FOX News from going to a press conference where CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS were all invited.
President Obama said he would give White House interviews via Kenneth Feinberg only to legitimate news organizations and FOX News was not on that list.
But bureau chiefs of Washington television affiliates stood up for Fox and said they wouldn't go unless FOX News Channel, a network that has been in the same press pool since 97, was allowed to attend.
House representative John Boehner and FOX News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace say this move is not what the administration had promised.
When asked about the situation President Obama told an NBC reporter that the reason for keeping FOX out was because it operated more like talk radio than a news outlet...but that he wasn't loosing any sleep over it.

Why is anyone surprised at this? This man wants to silence anyone who opposes him. We wanted change and we got it. George Bush wasnt so bad was he?

3 weeks agoLike Hugo Chavez the dictator of Venezuala, Obama does not like Fox asking questions critical of his agenda. He calls critics of his health care program "liars" or Americans at town halls who spoke against his policies "extremists". Obama suppports robust debate when its "politically correct" or in line with the liberal or marxist agenda. Otherwise he wants to silence anyone who disagrees with him.

3 weeks agoObama lies through his teeth: he attacked Fox News as not being a real news source. In fact, it is the MSM that isn't "real." The MSM is a mouthpiece for Obama. A Pew Research Center study (not a poll) of the general election found that (link below):
MSNBC's general election coverage of Obama was 14% negative & 43% positive. Their coverage of McCain was a whopping 73% negative & ONLY 10% positive. No wonder Obama gives Rachel Madcow, Creep Olbermann & Chrissy Matthews the access that he does.
Fox News coverage of Obama was 40% negative & 25% positive. Their coverage of McCain was 40% negative & 22% positive.
(A side note: CNN's coverage of McCain was 61% negative and 39% positive).
MSNBC was 5X as negative in their coverage of McCain compared to their coverage of Obama (73% vs 14%). MSNBC was 4x as positive in their coverage of Obama compared to their coverage of McCain (43% vs 10%). Fox News was equally negative (40% for both) and MORE positive in their coverage of Obama (25% vs 22%).
The MSM's overall coverage of Obama was 29% negative & 36% positive. The MSM's overall coverage of McCain was a whopping 57% negative & ONLY 14% positive. The MSM was 2X as negative in their coverage of McCain compared to their coverage of Obama (57% vs 29%). The MSM was 2.5X as positive in their coverage of Obama compared to their coverage of McCain (36% vs 14%).

Obama lies through his teeth and attacks Fox News because he wants the MSM to continue to be a mouthpiece for him. He does not want the MSM to report the info that Fox News digs up on him/his adminiatrstaion. Liberals lie through their teeth when they attack Fox News and make excuses for the MSM, but their excuses for the MSM are bogus.

4 weeks agoMost of America realizes that Fox tends to support more of the Republican views, CNN & other news stations tend to be more Democratic in their opinions. Obama had no problem with the media when they were running down his opponents during his run for the presidency or when the media bad mouthed Bush for his hiccups. He only has a problem with it when they bad mouth him & his administration. It's only human nature for people to disagree. This is the very foundation that our country is built upon "FREEDOM OF SPEECH". Now I will address "Tha kin gye's" comments. Throwing out the term "racists" is as common as seeing a car drive down the street nowadays. It's being run into the ground & eventually people will pay as much attention to it as the gravel in their driveways. Have you ever looked up the definition of "racist". If not you should. 99.9% of the time it is used, it bears no resemblance to the actual meaning. If you disagree with someone who happens to be classed as a "minority"(which I don't understand why this term exists because it differentiates people, If we are striving to be equal, why keep using this term. It puts people in a different class, note the term "different" not equal) you are racists. Wake up people, no one is being racist, they just don't agree with what you say!!

4 weeks agoFox is the only National news media that is not giving this White House a free ride when it comes to what they are saying to the American public. Asking for honesty from our leaders does not make one a racist. Being afraid to tell it like it is is what people in places like North Korea and China have to put up with.

4 weeks agoI am totally agree with what President does to Fox. They are no more than a bunch of racists and poison to the American public with fault information. They are not the news network, just bunch of haters what ever democratic President or party does they always against it. Its not about the Democratic party or Republic party its about the good for the American people.

4 weeks agoIt's hard to believe that this can happen in America. The 1st Amendment ensures freedom of the press. President Obama is trying to control what the media says and how they say it. That kind of control reminds me of the press in the United Soviet Socialists Republic. In the USSR, the government decided what the media would say and when they would say it. Control of the media, redistribution of wealth, state-run health care... Sounds a whole lot like Socialism to me. I'm concerned what other freedoms we will lose during this administration.
